1988 KX 125
Please read the description of each picture, they're very informative!

This is the left side of the bike. I refinished the plastic over the winter, and have only layed the bike down twice since then (very lightly each time), so there are hardly any scratches and the plastic is very reflective. Unfortunately, there is a large crack next to the KX, but it dosent really hurt anything being there, so I choose to save my money and not replace that piece. It is refinished like the rest though. The decals are also all less then 6 months old, so they should be there for a while. This model KX only has one radiator, while the newer ones have two (one on each side). I've never had the bike overheat at all on me, and this set up feels much slimmer then any of the new bikes I've ridden, so I kinda like it. The chain and sprockets are almost exactly a year old. The brakes are pretty old, but don't seem very worn, so I would say they have plenty of life left. The rear tire is a year old too, but both it and the front are in pretty good shape. The frame has some wear spots, but that 's perfectly normal for any bike thats had any amount of use. I guess that's all I can think of for this pic...any questions?

This is the right side. There is a lot of glare on this picture, I apologize. You can see the platinum plated FMF Fatty pipe in this pic. Not a single dent or bit of rust on it. It is about 9 months old, only has 3 or 4 races on it. You can also just see the FMF silencer sticking out behind the rear number plate. It's pretty old, and has a few dents, but still works great. You can also see the shock resevoir in this pic. I mention this because it has a "House of Horsepower" sticker on it, and they're my sponser. Check out their website at www.houseofhorsepower.com they do great work! I had them rebuild and revalve the rear suspension, replace the spring in the rear suspension, and they had custom fork springs made by Race Tech Suspension for me. It's good stuff!! And only has a few hours of riding on it, as it was all done over the winter. I just got the forks dialed in before the bottom end of the engine went out. Ok, I think that's all I have for this photo also...any questions??

Ok, this is the front of the bike. New number backgrounds on it. You can also get a good view of the renthal bars here. They're purple, to match the fork boots. The bars are only about 9 months old, just a few races on them. They might be slightly bent, but not very much. I'm pretty tall, so they're a tall bend of bar, but not too bad. I personally think they're too short. Black and purple grips...I think they're scott grips...I've had all the high quality grips on this bike in the last few years (Renthal, Pro Grip Gels, ect.) because they really make a big difference in how the bike feels. These ones are probably about as old as the pipe, and could maybe use replacement soon, but they're still ok. The throttle tube is aluminum, instead of the cheap plastic kind that break everytime you crash, and cause the throttle to stick. It'll literally never need to be replaced. This view also shows how the plastic is very reflective. Well, thats about all for this pic...any questions??

This is the back of the bike. There isn't a whole lot to see from this picture, other then the profile of the bike. It's got a wider seat then the newer bikes, but it's also very comfortable. I guess that this is another good view of the renthal bars and the reflective plastic.

I have two other pics I didnt send, they're both close ups of the engine, and just really dont show much. i can send them to you if you'd like though. Well, I guess that's it for now. John Bixler
